Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When should I check my mileage and when can I expect results?
A.
Make sure you record your mileage before installing your Turbomag. Increase in gas mileage usually occurs after about 2-4
tanks full of gas.
Q. Why after 2-4 tanks full of gas?
A.
Before the Turbomag will improve your gas mileage, it must first clean out the carbon deposits in your engine, depending on
the amount of those deposits and the overall efficiency of your engine, it generally takes an average of 3 tanks full of gas.
Q. Can I install the Turbomag myself?
A.
Yes, if you know where the fuel line is on your vehicle, it is not hard to install.
Q.
How long will it take to install the Turbomag on my vehicle?
A. You or your mechanic should
be able to install Turbomag in about few minutes.
Q. Will Turbomag effect my
vehicle’s warranty?
A. NO. Since Turbomag is designed to be fastened on to the outside
of your fuel line, not cutting into it, it will not void any warranties.
Q.
Is there anything I need to do after the installation of Turbomag?
A. No, however you may need
to change your oil in half the normal interval (i.e. 1500 miles as opposed to 3000 miles) with the first oil change, due to
the Turbomag’s ability to clean the carbon build-up in your engine. After this first time, you will be able to go for
an extended period of time, normally at least double or 6000 miles before the 2nd and future oil changes.
Q.
How long will my Turbomag last?
A. Your Turbomag consists of permanent magnets that are said to last
a t least 900 years.
Q. Will my Turbomag cause any problems with the computer n my vehicle?
A. NO. The computer is usually located inside the vehicle. There is plenty of distance between Turbomag
and the computer. Also, the type of computer in your vehicle can not be adversely affected by the presence of a magnet.
Q.
Will Turbomag help me pass my smog test?
A. YES. You should experience about 50% reduction in emissions with
your Turbomag when properly installed.
Q. The manufacturer of my
vehicle suggests I use a Premium Fuel. With Turbomag can I now use a lower octane fuel and save even more money?
A.
Yes, in most cases. However, not all engines are alike. You must first wait until the carbon build-up is cleaned out of your
engine. As long as there is no knocking or pinging, and the performance is as it should be, the lower octane fuel will not
harm your engine.
Q. Can the Turbomag give an extra boost?
A.YES.
Everyone that has tried Turbomag has noticed more Horse Power. More power means less down shifting when climbing hills, which
translates into better gas mileage.
Q. Why can’t the oil
companies provide this boost?
A. The dispersion of fuel molecules occurs only when the fuel is passed
through the magnetic field of the Turbomag. When the engine is off, this dispersion ceases, and the fuel slowly returns to
a more congested state. This phenomenon can only be induced by the Turbomag.
Q.
Will Turbomag work only on gasoline or will it work on other fuels as well?
A. Turbomag will
work on just about any fuel; gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, fuel oil, etc., but, the percentage of improvement differs
from one type to another.
Q. Will my Turbomag work
on fuel injection systems?
A. YES, place your Turbomag as
close to the intake as possible for optimum results.
Q. Where do I install my
Turbomag on a carburetor engine?
A. As close to the carburetor as possible.
Q.
Do I need to adjust my carburetor?
A. No, you should not have to make any adjustment, as long as the
engine is well tuned to begin with.
Q. Will Turbomag work on
an air cooled engine?
A. Yes
Q. Will Turbomag work on
hybrid cars?
A. Yes. You would install Turbomag on the fuel line the same as with conventional
vehicles.
Q. Will Turbomag fit on my car?
A.
Yes. Turbomag is so versatile, because of its size and application, that it will fit on all vehicles.
Q.
What if I can’t install Turbomag close to the intake of my engine as indicated? Is there some place else to locate it
or does that mean that it won’t work on my vehicle?
A. As long as you install Turbomag after the fuel pump and fuel filter,
you should still get great results. However, the effectiveness is optimized when installed near the intake of your engine.
Q. Does high temperature affect performance?
A.
Turbomag is very heat resistant; however, it should not be placed close to the exhaust manifold or against the engine block.
Q. How soon will the Turbomag pay for itself?
A.
This is directly proportional to the price you pay for fuel and the amount of driving you do. Turbomag users have reported
a pay back between 2-5 weeks.
Q. How much improvement can
I expect?
A. This depends on the type and size of your engine, type of driving, etc. Fuel
savings of up to 60% have been reported, but average is about 20%.
Q.
If Turbomag is so good, why don’t all the automobile manufacturers put it on new cars?
A.
Probably for the same reason that the auto makers don’t make vehicles that exceed minimum government standards for fuel
mileage and emissions.
